LEUNG is shocked and upset to hear that the former film star CHEUK NING has died in an accident. LEUNG and NING used to be lovers. NING was a pop singer. She met LEUNG by chance and soon fell in love with him. But she was too desperate for fame and money that she finally deserted LEUNG and chose to be the secret lover of TSEUNG SAI-KONG, a local tycoon. Though they have been separated for many years, LEUNG still can’t get NING off his mind. LAM and NING are sisters. NING’s death comes as a real shock to LAM. LAM manages to reach her mother YUEN WAI-CHING, and is relieved to know that both NING and CHING are all right. CHI decides to let his high-class apartment so as to help reduce his financial burden.
