Katsumi Aoi
Born in Kyoto in 1959. Starts independent filmmaking with super 8 in high school. Exploring the world of individual images during college, he gets down to his true producing career around 1979. Constructs a unique image world by taking effect of the tones and textures characteristic to the super 8. Begins video work as well from 1990. Has presented a number of works in various project exhibits all over the world. Currently residing in Tokyo. President of a video production company.
